Two bunches of Belfast’s funniest kids joined me on Monday night in improv and storytelling. The littlies, aged 7-10, and the biggies, 11-14, were a delight with their creative and divergent thinking and high-energy sparking off each other to create some seriously funny stuff.
Here’s what Max, one of the biggies had to say:’
“It was fantastic. It taught me a lot about comedy and improvisation. You don’t have to have a script but you just have to keep talking and you will become funny. It’s boosted my confidence.”
and here’s what Max’s mum, Sarah Whiteley, said:””
“… they learnt lots and had lots of laughs and were more confident as a result…I would highly recommend the event…Many many thanks. You have a great talent and we are lucky that you shared it with us.”
Thank you Belfast. Thank you to festival director Pete O’Neill.
